Patriots Fans Still Hopeful After Tough Loss To Eagles

BOSTON (CBS) -- The New England Patriots' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday was a real shock for Pats fans, who are accustomed to Tom Brady and company pulling out last-second wins nearly every week.

After the defeat, Patriots fans trudged up Route 1, licking their wounds. It was an ugly game, but Pats backers are still confident.

"I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe it," said one fan. "I thought that literally Brady would pull something out in the end, and he didn't do it. He couldn't do it...not this time."

Another fan still thinks the Super Bowl is a strong possibility.

"(The Patriots) went 16-0 once before (and they) didn't win the Super Bowl," he said. "So who cares?...(If they) go 10-6 this year...as long as (they) win it, that's all that matters."

A group of Eagles fans was obviously pleased. One of them saying it's quite an achievement to beat New England.
