Belichick On Cary Williams' Comments: 'We've Moved On'

BOSTON (CBS) - New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick had little to say about comments made by Philadelphia Eagles' corner Cary Williams over the weekend.

Following the Patriots preseason win over the Eagles on Friday, Williams said the Patriots played "dirty" during the joint practices the two teams took part in during the week leading up to the game, adding that the Patriots did a lot of talking leading up to the practices.

When asked about the corner's comments, Belchick kept it simple.

"We've moved on," he said. "We're [moving on] to Tampa."

Williams' said it was because of the Patriots' attitude leading up to the joint practices that he started a dust-up with rookie receiver Aaron Dobson last Tuesday, causing both players to be kicked out of the session.

When asked if he thought Williams' actions during the practice -- and remarks after the game -- were "garbage," Belichick had little to add.

"I don't know, I didn't even see it," the coach responded.

There were no other incidents involving Williams during the two other joint practice sessions with the Patriots or during Friday night's game.
