Pan-Mass Challenge Presents Record-Breaking Check To Dana-Farber
BOSTON (CBS) - The Pan-Mass Challenge presented a record-breaking check to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in a ceremony Sunday.
The $37 million check was the result of the August two-day bike ride in which 5,234 riders from 36 states and 9 countries participated.
The PMC says the $37 million represents 100% of every rider-raised dollar, a pass-through rate rarely found among charity events.
The gift brings the PMC's 33-year total Jimmy Fund contribution to $375 million, they said.
