One person shot, killed in Boston's Theater District
BOSTON - Boston Police are investigating a shooting in the city's Theater District.
Police said a call came in at 9:12 p.m. for a person shot on Tremont street. The person, later identified as Branden Barrett, 34, of South Weymouth, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Barrett died several days later. His death was pronounced a homicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
