NightSide - Government-Sanctioned Trash Snooping
BOSTON (CBS) - Attleboro announced this weekend that they will be employing part-time "recycling monitors" to track household participation and whether or not the recycling is being sorted properly. This program seems similar to one being instituted in Seattle. The city of Seattle is currently being sued by residents who believe the trash-tracking program is a violation of privacy. Ethan Blevins, the lead attorney for Pacific Legal Foundation (representing the residents), joins NightSide to talk about the issue.
