Need A Cab In Boston? There's A New App For That
BOSTON (CBS) - A high-tech way to grab a cab? Now there's an app for that.
You won't need to whistle or raise your hand any more to hail a taxi in Boston with a new app called Hailo.

The app works like a GPS by finding a customer's location and then tracks the nearest participating cab driver.
The driver's photo, name, cab number and phone number will show up on your screen.
And, if you happen to leave something in the cab after your ride, you'll have a way to track down the driver.
The app is free to download, but there is a fee for each cab hailed.
All drivers can charge the fare to the passenger's credit card using Hailo.
The app is also used in New York, Chicago, London, Dublin and Toronto.
