Moderna Plans To Have Combination COVID Booster, Flu Vaccine Ready By Fall 2023

CAMBRIDGE (CBS/CNN) - Moderna is planning to have a combination COVID and flu vaccine ready for next year.

The Cambridge-based company has been developing a shot that's a flu vaccine and coronavirus booster in one injection.

CEO Stéphane Bancel said the shot should be ready by the fall of 2023, but it will likely only be available in some countries.
