Bail Set For Milton Man Who Crashed Into Trooper
QUINCY (CBS) -A Milton man who was allegedly driving drunk pleaded not guilty Monday after injuring a Massachusetts State Police trooper on Interstate 93 over the weekend.
Wayne Leduc, 40 of Milton, was charged with drunk driving after a crash on the Expressway North in Quincy early Sunday morning. Leduc crashed into a state police cruiser while Trooper Brian Berry was standing in front of the vehicle during a routine traffic stop.
Prosecutors said Leduc's blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.

Berry, a 43-year-old trooper from the Milton barracks, radioed for an ambulance and was taken to Boston Medical Center with leg injuries.
Leduc's bail was set at $1,500 during his arraignment in Quincy District Court Monday.
Several state troopers were struck on the job last year, including State Police Sgt. Doug Weddleton, who was killed by an alleged drunk driver in Mansfield.
