McAdam With Gresh & Zo: Youkilis' Injury Could Get Worse Before It Gets Better

Comcast SportsNet's Sean McAdam joined Gresh and Zo to discuss the Red Sox after they dropped 2 of 3 at home to the Oakland Athletics.

Third baseman Kevin Youkilis was recently put on the disabled list which prompted the Sox to promote their young prospect Will Middlebrooks. He made his debut last night and had a more than serviceable game, picking up his first Major League hit and steal.

Middlebrooks' performance last night prompted McAdam to see a future scenario where the Red Sox do not pick up Youkilis' option and make Middlebrooks the everyday starter.

Zo was impressed with the size and speed of Middlebrooks and likened him to the build of Alex Rodriguez. Whatever happens, McAdam does not see this situation ending cleanly.
