State Trooper, Driver Hospitalized Following Wareham Crash
WAREHAM (CBS) – A New Bedford woman and a Massachusetts State Police trooper were both hospitalized Wednesday following a crash in Wareham.
The trooper was parked in the center median on Route 25 near Exit 2 when a 2007 Honda Civic driven by a 25-year-old woman slammed into the cruiser just before 4 p.m.
Both the driver and the trooper were taken to Tobey Hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening.
The crash remains under investigation.
