Baker Reportedly Signs Bill To Extend Some Pandemic Policies Including Outdoor Dining, To-Go Cocktails

BOSTON (CBS) – Gov. Charlie Baker has reportedly signed a bill to extend some popular pandemic policies.

Outdoor dining, to-go cocktails and eviction protection all expired when the state of emergency ended Tuesday morning.

The new measure allows restaurants to serve to-go drinks until May 2022 and extend special permits for outdoor dining through next April.

Senate President Karen Spilka said that Baker signed the bill into law Wednesday morning.
