Massachusetts Gas Prices 46 Cents Lower Than A Year Ago

BOSTON (AP) — After several weeks of steadily rising prices, the cost of gas in Massachusetts has dipped slightly in the past week.

AAA Northeast announced Monday that a gallon of self-serve, regular dropped 2 cents to an average of $2.17.

That price is a nickel below the national average and still 46 cents lower than the Massachusetts price a year ago.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling in Massachusetts for as low as $1.99 per gallon and as high as $2.63.
