Ali was one of three men arrested in New England in connection with the failed bombing attempt last May.
Authorities say Khan unwittingly supplied $4,900 to Faisal Shahzad of Bridgeport, Conn., who was later convicted in the attempted bombing.
Khan was not accused of knowing about or participating in the plot.
