Mass. Casino License Application Comes With $400,000 Non-Refundable Fee
BOSTON (CBS) - Developers who want to build a casino in Massachusetts will have to shell out $400,000 just to apply.
Applications will be available beginning on Thursday.
The $400,000 non-refundable fee does not guarantee rights to a casino.
The application fees will be used to cover the costs of the state gaming commission.
The commission is in charge of awarding two more licenses: one for the western part of the state and the other for the central part or greater Boston area.
