Martin Richard's Sister Sends 'No More Hurting People' Message To Paris
BOSTON (CBS) – A picture of 8-year-old Martin Richard holding a sign that said "No more hurting people. Peace" spread worldwide after he was killed in the Boston Marathon bombings.
Now in the aftermath of a string of terrorist attacks in Paris, his sister Jane is spreading the same message.
The Martin Richard Foundation posted a photo of a sign made by Jane, written in French.
Translated, it is the same thing her brother preached.
"To Paris. With love, from Jane. #NoMoreHurtingPeoplePeace," the Martin Richard Foundation posted.
A statue of Martin Richard holding his now famous sign was constructed at Bridgewater State University.
