Marc Savard Officially Back
The Bruins have confirmed this morning that center Marc Savard was medically cleared to play yesterday. The Bruins will play either Pittsburgh or Philadelphia in the next round of the playoffs beginning later this week and Savard has been out almost 2 months since suffering a Grade 2 concussion against Pittsburgh thanks to a blind-side hit from Matt Cooke.
In 41 games during the regular season, Savard had 33 points, including 10 goals.
