Man Charged In Fatal Route 6 Crash
SANDWICH (CBS) -- An East Bridgewater man has been charged with motor vehicle homicide in a fatal Sandwich crash on Route 6 earlier in the week.
Massachusetts State Police said they have filed charges that also included impeded operation and speeding against Michael Dalto, 45. Police said Dalto "became distracted as a result of his own actions" when he lost control of his pickup truck and collided with a Honda Accord.
Lawrence Barrows, 32, of Centerville was killed in the crash.
Dalto will appear in Barnstable District Court at a yet-to-be-determined date, police said.
