Man Accused Of Attacking Hospital Patient With "Samurai-Type" Sword
NASHUA, N.H. (CBS) - Police arrested a 19-year-old man who allegedly attacked a hospital patient with a sword late Wednesday night.
Andrew Lavoie allegedly threatened and assaulted a male patient at a local hospital with a "small samurai-type sword" just before midnight.
The victim suffered a minor injury to his hand.
Police said the victim and Lavoie are "acquainted."
Lavoie, who has been charged with assault and criminal threatening, is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday in Nashua District Court. He was held on $5,000 bail after his arrest.
