MA Gov. Patrick suffers without air conditioner
Gov. Deval Patrick's multimillion-dollar home in Milton lacks one amenity he could use right now: air conditioning.
As a heat wave grips the Bay State, the governor says he doesn't even have a window unit in his grand colonial home.
Patrick told listeners in an radio interview on Wednesday that he and wife Diane have thought about air conditioning, but always decide against it because they need it only two or three days a year.
But, he says, "when those two, three days come, it's tough."
