Lowell to Stay?
When Mike Lowell was almost traded in the offseason, most expected that the Red Sox would look to trade him again once his health was established. Now, it looks like he'll stay.
According to Sean McAdam of Comcast Sports Net, major league executives who have talked to the Red Sox believe the team plans to put Lowell on the 25 man roster at the end of spring training. Lowell is speaking with reporters in Fort Myers at this hour - more to come shortly.
