MBTA Closing Lechmere Station For Year For Green Line Extension Work
BOSTON (CBS) – The MBTA wants Green Line riders to know Lechmere Station will soon be closed for a year.
The station will close this spring so crews can "remove and relocate" the existing station as part of the Green Line Extension, the T said in a statement.
Green Line service between Lechmere and North Station will be replaced with shuttle bus service.
