Julian Edelman Added To Patriots' Injury Report With Foot Issue
BOSTON (CBS) -- On Wednesday, LeGarrette Blount was added to the Patriots' injury report with a hip problem. On Thursday, an even bigger name appeared.
Julian Edelman was listed as a limited participant in Thursday's practice session due to a foot injury.
Edelman missed the second half of last season due to a Jones fracture in his left foot. He returned for the postseason but underwent surgeries in the offseason to repair the issue. He did suffer a temporary setback during training camp but didn't miss much time.
The injury report did not specify whether it was Edelman's left or right foot.
Edelman and Blount were among eight players listed as limited, while tackle Marcus Cannon did not practice due to a calf injury. Cannon was a limited participant on Wednesday.
Through four games, Edelman has caught a team-leading 19 passes for 196 yards.
The Patriots play the Cleveland Browns on Sunday at 1 p.m.
