Jet Blue To Add Direct Flights From Boston To Haiti
BOSTON (CBS) -- Jet Blue is adding a new non-stop Caribbean destination from Boston to its list.
Starting Wednesday, the airline will provide nonstop flights from Logan airport to Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Flights will run Wednesdays and Saturdays through September 5.
More than 44,000 people traveled by air between Boston and Port-au-Prince in 2014 last year, according to Massport. It is the largest Caribbean destination from Boston that did not have a nonstop option, the agency said.
