Construction On I-93 In Wilmington Will Cause Weekend Lane And Ramp Closures
WILMINGTON (CBS) -- There will be some major construction work in Wilmington this weekend.
Between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Friday night and Monday morning, the two right travel lanes on I-93 South near Route 125 will be closed. A lane on Route 125 westbound and the on-ramp to I-93 South will be closed as well.
Crews are repairing a beam on the overpass bridge. In February last year, a bad crash involving a garbage truck damaged the beam.
Similar work is scheduled for the next two weekends.
