Great White Shark Circles Boat In Cape Cod Bay Near Sandwich
SANDWICH (CBS) -- The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy confirmed a great white shark sighting in Cape Cod Bay over the weekend. The shark was spotted off Sandy Neck Beach near Sandwich on Saturday.
Boaters took pictures of the eight-foot shark as it circled them for about 15 minutes.
The Conservancy positively identified the shark Sunday and released two photos.
The sighting was a "lifelong memory" for all the kids on board, the agency said in a statement.
