Francona Writing Book About Time With Red Sox
BOSTON (CBS) – Terry Francona is adding another chapter to his life after baseball.
The former Red Sox manager has already joined the broadcast booth since leaving the team, now he is adding author to his resume.

Francona is writing a book that will reflect on his eight years with the Red Sox, from the World Series championships of 2004 and 2007 to last year's historic September collapse.

The former Sox skipper is writing the book along with the Boston Globe's Dan Shaughnessy. Boston-based publisher Houghton Mifflin Harcourt is promising an "insightful, honest, and entertaining" look at Tito's time in Boston.
