Dallas PD Erroneously Reports Aqib Talib Arrested
BOSTON (CBS) - Former New England Patriots cornerback Aqib Talib was NOT arrested in Dallas early Sunday morning, despite a report by Dallas Police.
About an hour after the Dallas Police Media Relations Officer reported that Talib was arrested, he issued a correction, saying 31-year-old Yaqub Talib was actually the person taken in for public intoxication.
According to reports Yaqub Talib is Aqib's older brother.
Aqib Talib, a former Patriot, Talib signed a six-year, $57 million contract with the Broncos this offseason.
