Lobster and chowder on fries? Here are the new Fenway Park foods debuting this Red Sox season.

Hot dogs and fries at Fenway Park just got an upgrade. Boston Red Sox fans can now have lobster on their ballpark favorites.

The Red Sox are playing their home opener Friday against the San Diego Padres. And a new season means new food for fans to try at Fenway concession stands.

The most eye-catching is the "Lobstah Poutine." Served in a paper boat, it's French fries topped with lobster meat, clam chowder and crispy bacon.

"This is the over-the-top item, and it's gotten rave reviews so far," Fenway senior executive chef Ron Abell said. 

The other lobster-topped treat is the Surf & Turf Dog. This isn't your typical Fenway Frank, it's a Kobe beef hot dog with lobster, bacon, chives and butter on a toasted brioche bun.

That's not the only new hot dog coming to Fenway. There's also a "Boston Dog" with baked beans and caramelized onions; a "Reuben Dog" with Russian dressing, corned beef and sauerkraut; a "Pitmaster Dog" with barbequed pork and beef and a "Pizza Dog" with shredded mozzarella, marinara sauce and pepperoni. 

Abell said one of his new favorites is the Spicy Cabot Grilled Cheese that uses Vermont sharp cheddar and mango-habanero salsa on sourdough bread.

"It's dynamite, very spicy," he said.

Another New England favorite - steak tips - will be available in sub form. The "North Shore 3 Way" is available in either steak or turkey tips with barbecue sauce, American cheese and mayonnaise. Paired alongside the subs at Fenway on Thursday was a Guinness beef stew.

For dessert, there's a North End Cannoli dipped in chocolate, "cake in a can" and milkshakes. 

"We try to come up with new items to keep all our fans interested and give them a lot of options," Abell said.
