Divers Pull 130 Traffic Cones From Icy Charles River
BOSTON (CBS) – Dive teams went into the icy Charles River near the Massachusetts Avenue bridge to pull out more than 130 traffic cones on Friday.
In January, vandals tossed the cones off the bridge into the river. The cones mark a temporary bike lane.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said the vandalism disrupts the traffic set up, pollutes the river, and puts drivers and bikers in danger.
