Dive Teams Find Body Of Man Who Went Missing In Newbury's Parker River
NEWBURY (CBS) – Dive teams have recovered the body of a missing swimmer in Newbury.
State Police said the man was on a boat with his family in the Parker River when he decided to go for a swim. He began to struggle, went under, and never resurfaced.
Police said the man was not wearing a life jacket.
The Newbury Harbormaster, Environmental Police, State Police and Coast Guard assisted in the search.
