THE DEFENSE
Q: Hi Terry. Great Honda. What is its main use?
A: I drive it in the morning and evening to and from my school, the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University in Waltham. I also drive it to the Cape where I have a summerhouse.
Q: Wow, a summerhouse in the Cape sounds lovely. Is that your favorite day trip?
A: Definitely the Cape! I do it every Thursday.
Q: Back to your commute, what's your least favorite part of it?
A: Driving from the Cape in the morning. It's over an hour's drive and there is usually traffic. Ugh.
Q: Do you ever rock out in your car to keep yourself entertained?
A: Yes, I do! If my car had a theme song, it would be, "I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar" by Helen Reddy.
Q: Where did you get your car? Was it from a dealership?
A: Bernardi Honda in Natick, Massachusetts. I bought it for myself and for shuttling my kids around. It was dead winter. I was literally the only one in the car dealership. I was totally relaxed. We were trying to negotiate a deal, but they wouldn't accept it. I said I understood and I left. When I was in the lot, they came running after me and said the manager had decided to accept the deal. I said, OK.
Q: Where's the farthest place you've driven to with this car?
A: [From Boston to] Geneva, New York, where my son goes to school.
Q: Is there anything else we should know about your car?
A: It's always messy!
