CAMBRIDGE (CBS) -- First responders are working to pull out a construction worker from a trench after he was struck by a beam.

Police say the man was working in a trench about 25 to 30-foot deep on Fawcett Street in Cambridge when he was hit.

No word on the extent of his injuries.
