Chara Set To Return For Bruins Against Islanders
BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Bruins will have their captain back on Tuesday night.
After hitting the ice for the team's morning skate on Tuesday, Zdeno Chara declared himself good-to-go for Boston's New Year's Eve tilt against the New York Islanders at the TD Garden.

Chara missed Saturday's loss to the Ottawa Senators with an undisclosed injury, but he was able to participate in Monday's practice and in Tuesday's morning. He told reporters after the skate he feels well-enough to play his game.

Chara's return is big for the Boston blue-line, who will be without defenseman Dennis Seidenberg for the rest of the season after he suffered an ACL/MCL injury last Friday night.
A few other injured-Bruins were on the ice on Tuesday, but will not be suiting up for Tuesday night's game.Forward's Loui Eriksson and Carl Soderberg (both sidelined with concussion symptoms) and defenseman Dougie Hamilton (lower body injury) all skated on Tuesday.
