Cape Cod man convicted in killing of NC teen

A Cape Cod man has been convicted of second-degree murder in the shooting death of a North Carolina teen who came to Massachusetts to find a job.
A jury on Friday found 21-year-old Julian Green of Dennis guilty of the July 2007 slaying of 18-year-old Jacques Sellers of Raleigh, N.C. Prosecutors say Green is one of two men who fired a gun at a Hyannis home as Sellers was inside watching television. Police do not think he was targeted. The second suspect's trial is pending.
A second-degree murder conviction carries a mandatory sentence of life with the possibility of parole in 15 years. Green claimed he did not fire the fatal shot and his lawyer said evidence pointed to a third man.
