5-Year-Old On Scooter Hit By Car In Canton
CANTON (CBS) – A 5-year-old boy was taken to an area hospital after he was hit by a car while riding a scooter in Canton.
It happened Sunday afternoon on Bolivar Street.
Fouad Ahmed was behind the wheel. He said he was "devastated" by the crash and was just glad the child would be OK.
"I don't care about insurance, I don't care about anything. I care about human being," said Ahmed.
After he was hit by a BMW, the boy was taken to Norwood Hospital. Firefighters described the child's injuries as minor.
The driver stopped at the scene.
