BU Students Warned Of Sex Assault
BOSTON (CBS) - Students at Boston University are getting a warning after a sexual assault on campus.
A student told police that a man touched her inappropriately when she stepped off an elevator in the Warren Towers on Saturday night.
Police are looking for the man and sent out an alert to the students.
In a letter to students, University President Robert Brown announced that the school is opening a center, "that will be specifically dedicated to preventing sexual assault through training and outreach and to providing support to victims of sexual assault as well as other forms of abuse, such as hazing."
The announcement comes after several serious incidents involving BU students including two alleged sex assaults and two incidents of alleged hazing.
