Bruins need spark before beating Belfast, 5-1

It would be one thing to lose to the Phoenix Coyotes in Prague but quite another to lose to Belfast in Northern Ireland.  The Bruins struggled before three quick goals in the 2nd period led Boston to a 5-1 preseason win over the Belfast Giants Selects.

Odyssey Arena was filled beyond capacity with a noisy crowd trying to will their team to a historic upset.  Belfast goalie Stephen Murphy blanked the Bruins in a scoreless first period and the crowd was on their feet when Belfast took a 1-0 lead at the 18:24 mark of the second on a Jade Galbraith power play goal.

Soon after Bruins' rookie Tyler Seguin scored to tie the game and it got the B's going as they scored three goals in a span of 45 seconds.  Zdeno Chara and Brad Marchand both found the net with help from Shawn Thornton.  Seguin got his second goal of the game on a penalty shot in the 3rd and Milan  Lucic also scored for the Bruins.
