Brady Reports To Camp, Closing In On New Contract
Multiple outlets, including the Boston Herald, are reporting this morning that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady reported to training camp yesterday, along with the rookies, ending any possibility of a holdout. In addition, ESPN is reporting this morning that Brady and the team have made progress towards a new contract extension.
The deal is apparently within reach and could be finalized this summer, and, if not, it would only be due to the complicated language included in the deal and a work stoppage expected 1 year from now.
