Boston's Newest Gorilla Needs A Name
BOSTON (CBS) -- The newest addition to the Tropical Forest at the Franklin Park Zoo needs a name – and visitors will choose it.
The female western lowland gorilla was born on Novmber 3 to her parents Kiki and Kitombe.
She has two older sisters, Kira, age 11, and Kimani, age 6.
The zoo is inviting guests to submit names at a submission box at the Tropical Forest until February 25.
The winning name will be selected and announced on February 26.
The person who submits the winning name will receive a family membership to the zoo and a behind-the-scene tour for six people.
