Boston Sports Weekend Roundup
BOSTON (CBS) - Just another busy week for Boston sports, from the Bruins-Canadiens rivalry to Bill Belichick skipping the most important meal of the day.
- The Red Sox season is less than a week away. It all starts Friday in Texas when Jon Lester takes on C.J. Wilson of the Rangers.
- The Bruins beat up on the Canadiens 7-0, and Mark Recchi said his comments about Max Pacioretty were to take the heat off Zdeno Chara.
But it was not just the on-ice play that got all the hype. Before the game, the Boston-Montreal media got into a war of words, with Montreal columnist Pat Hickey calling 98.5 The Sports Hub's Michael Felger Boston's "village idiot."
It was all in good fun though.

- The Bruins will honor broadcasting great Bob Wilson saturday afternoon before their game against the Rangers. The Bruins will dedicate their home radio broadcast booth to Wilson by renaming it the "Bob Wilson Radio Booth." The Bruins will also install a silver microphone encased in a black and gold frame on the TD Garden's level 9 facade.
Wilson be honored before the game and get to drop the first puck. After that, he will head up to his newly dedicated radio booth to serve as 98.5 The Sports Hub's first intermission guest commentator alongside current play-by-play announcer Dave Goucher and color analyst Bob Beers.
Wilson joined Felger and Mazz Thursday afternoon and spoke about the honor.
- The Celtics are hoping to get their pair of O'Neals (Shaq and Jermaine) back before the playoffs. Reports say Shaq could return April 1st while Jermaine could return from knee surgery next week.
Assistant coaches Kevin Eastman and Armond Hill took the media duties on Thursday, and said the Celtics cannot make excuses the rest of the way and will need everyone to make their postseason runs.
