Boston Police Officer Indicted On OUI Charges
BOSTON (CBS) - A Boston Police officer has been indicted on charges he drove drunk and nearly killed a woman.
The I-Team first reported the story in June.
Officer Richard Jeanetti has been suspended without pay and faces the possibility of ten years in prison.
Prosecutors say last May, he was drunk when he slammed his speeding truck into a car driven by Brianna O'Neil at an intersection in Hyde Park. O'Neill says she suffered fractures in her neck and spine.
The official Boston Police report made no mention of intoxication.
