Boston Considers Making One-Way Traffic In North End During Outdoor Dining Season

BOSTON (CBS) – The City of Boston is considering a proposal that could make the North End more friendly for outdoor dining.

A new proposal would make a stretch of Hanover Street one-way for cars this spring and summer.

Officials say the proposal would give restaurants more room for their outdoor dining setups.

The city is also working to address concerns over parking and noise during the outdoor dining season.

This year, outdoor dining will be permitted from April through September.
