Barnstable Student Hit By Department Of Public Works Truck
BARNSTABLE (CBS) – A Barnstable student was hit by a Department of Public Works truck Thursday morning.
It happened around 8 a.m. on West Main Street near Lincoln Road.
The girl, a Barnstable Intermediate School student, was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver, a town employee, stopped on scene and cooperated with police.
The crash remains under investigation.
