Report: Patriots DT Alan Branch Wins Appeal Of 4-Game Suspension
BOSTON (CBS) – As it turns out, the Patriots defense may not be without Alan Branch after all.
The defensive tackle was facing a 4-game suspension after he reportedly tested positive for marijuana.
Branch played, and blocked a field goal versus the Jets, while he appealed the discipline.
On Saturday, ESPN's Field Yates reported that Branch will be able to remain on the field after winning his appeal.
It is unclear what led to the reportedly successful appeal.
The Patriots play the Rams on Sunday at Gillette Stadium.
