1 Dead, 5 Hurt After Boat Collision On NH Pond
KINGSTON, N.H. (CBS) - One person was killed and five others were hurt in the collision of two boats in a New Hampshire pond on Saturday night.
Before 11:30 p.m., a 20-foot vessel and a 17-foot powerboat collided on Country Pond in Kingston, New Hampshire.
The 54-year-old operator of the 17-foot boat was killed. Five passengers of the boat were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 51-year-old man operating the 20-foot vessel was not hurt. He was the only person on board.
Names of the victims have not been released.
The accident is under investigation.
