MANCHESTER, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police say a Pennsylvania woman has died after the car she was driving was struck in the windshield by a tire from a pickup truck. 

Elisabeth Osorio, 64, of Hanover, Pa. died at Hanover Hospital Center. 

Troopers say about 6 p.m. Tuesday, a pickup truck driven by Jason Dempsey of Hanover, Pa. was traveling north on Md. Route 30 in Manchester when the vehicle's left rear tire came off. 

The tire hit a car driven by Andrew Nulty of New Oxford, Pa., then struck Osorio's car in the windshield, which swerved off the road and through a wooden fence.
