WEATHER BLOG: Warm Front Ushers In Milder Air

A large ridge of high pressure will remain the dominant feature in the Eastern Region for the rest of this week.

While today will be slightly cooler than yesterday in most places, a series of warm front pushing across the eastern Great Lakes and into southeastern Canada will usher in milder air during the second half of the week as the axis of high pressure difts slowly offshore.

This progressive warming trend won't occur without some clouds and parts of the Northeast might even get a passing shower Wednesday night or ealy Thursday. Regardless, most temps will rise into the mid and upper 50s on Thursday and Friday.
