Temperatures soar across Maryland heading into the holiday weekend
Overnight temperatures won't be as cold as Wednesday night. Maryland communities bottom-out in the low to mid-40s early Friday morning.
Good Friday includes a warm-up. Plan on temperatures climbing to near 70° by lunch-time. Temperatures peak in the mid to upper 70s by late afternoon in Baltimore City; a bit cooler further north and next to the bay. There will be more clouds around Friday, along with breezier winds.
Temperatures cool back into the 60s for Friday evening plans. It'll feel mild for the time of year.
Saturday will be the warmest day of the holiday weekend. High temperatures soar into the mid to upper 80s along and west of the I-95 corridor. Closer to the bay, high temperatures range from the upper 70s to lower 80s. Despite a mostly cloudy sky, most of Saturday stays dry.
A cold front sags closer to Maryland Saturday evening. A few showers are possible after 6 p.m., especially along and north of the I-70 corridor.
It'll be a mostly cloudy Easter Sunday. But, the First Alert Forecast remains mostly dry and comfortable. Sunday begins with temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Temperatures warm to near 70° for any outdoor lunch plans. The afternoon hours continue to look gray and comfortably warm, with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
The next chance of showers arrives early Monday. There will be another shot at wet weather Monday evening and night. Monday's rain looks hit-or-miss and overall accumulation should remain light.
