Who are Zion Young and Ja'Kobi Lane, the Baltimore Ravens' 2026 second- and third-round draft picks?
The Baltimore Ravens chose defensive end Zion Young and wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane during the second and third rounds of the 2026 NFL Draft Friday.
Young was chosen as the team's 45th overall pick in the second round, and Lane was chosen as the 80th overall pick in the third round.
Young and Lane join Olaivavega Ioane, an offensive lineman from Penn State, and the team's first-round pick.
The Ravens have a total of 11 picks in the 2026 draft. The team had one pick in the first round and one in the second.
The team will get pick No. 80 in round three, along with eight more picks in rounds four through seven.
Who is Zion Young?
Young, who is 6-feet, 6-inches tall and 262 pounds, has been described by the Associated Press as "a disruptive force who brings energy and leadership."
The University of Missouri alum posted 16.5 tackles for loss in 2025.
CBS Sports describes Young as powerful and high-motor, saying he may not be the most athletic, but he knows how to use heavy hands to confront offensive tackles.
Young is known to win with bull rush and heavy hands and play with extreme effort on every snap. His struggle to bend around the corner to finish sacks and reliance on power moves with less technical counters are among his weaknesses.
Who is Ja'Kobi Lane?
Lane, from the University of Southern California, received an honorable mention in the 2025 All-Big Ten Football Conference. Last year, he played in 11 games with nine starts, according to the Ravens.
The wide receiver is about 6-feet, 4-inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds.
According to the Associated Press, Lane produced prolific games and excellent catches while at USC last year.
Several scouts noted that he has great fluidity and a large catch radius with sure hands.
