Who is Zion Young, the Baltimore Ravens' 2026 second-round draft pick?

The Baltimore Ravens chose defensive end Zion Young from the University of Missouri as their 45th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. 

Second round pick, Young joins Olaivavega Ioane, an offensive lineman from Penn State, and the team's first-round pick. 

The Ravens have a total of 11 picks in the 2026 draft. The team had one pick in the first round and one in the second. 

The team will get pick No. 80 in round three, along with eight more picks in rounds four through seven. 

Who is Zion Young? 

Young, who is 6-feet, 6-inches tall and 262 pounds, has been described by the Associated Press as "a disruptive force who brings energy and leadership." 

He posted 16.5 tackles for loss in 2025. 

CBS Sports describes Young as powerful and high-motor, saying he may not be the most athletic, but he knows how to use heavy hands to confront offensive tackles. 

Young is known to win with bull rush and heavy hands and play with extreme effort on every snap. His struggle to bend around the corner to finish sacks and reliance on power moves with less technical counters are among his weaknesses.
